Refund & Cancellation Policy
How cancellation and refunds work for the TheLawBoard Pro ($249/month) subscription.
1. Subscriptions
TheLawBoard Pro is a monthly subscription of $249, billed in advance and renewing automatically each month until you cancel. The Free plan is always free and requires no payment.
2. Cancel anytime
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your account (Account → Billing → Manage subscription) or by emailing support@thelawboard.com. Cancellation stops all future renewals. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, after which your account returns to the Free plan.
3. Refunds
- Because Pro is billed monthly and you can cancel anytime to prevent future charges, we generally do not provide refunds for the current billing period or for partial months already started.
- Billing errors — if you were charged in error or charged after a timely cancellation, contact us within 30 days and we will promptly correct it, including a full refund of the erroneous charge.
- Goodwill — if something went wrong on our end or you never used Pro in a billing period, contact us; we review refund requests in good faith and may issue a discretionary refund.
4. How to request
Email support@thelawboard.com from your account email with your account email and the charge in question. We typically respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.
5. Changes
We may update this policy prospectively; the version in effect when you are charged applies to that charge.
