This Privacy Policy explains how CestoneAI Holdings LLC ("we") collects, uses, and protects information when you use TheLawBoard (the "Service"). We respect your privacy and collect only what we need to run the Service.
2. Information we collect
- Account information you provide: name, work email, agency/company name, password (stored only as a salted hash), and practice focus.
- Usage data: searches, saved jobs and MPC lists, API-key activity, and basic log data (timestamps, request paths). Aggregated site analytics may be collected via Google Analytics.
- Payment data: handled by our processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we retain only a customer/subscription identifier and plan status.
- Job-listing data in the Service is sourced from public law-firm career pages and ATS providers; it is not personal information about you.
3. How we use information
- To provide, secure, and improve the Service and your account.
- To process subscriptions and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To respond to support requests and send service-related communications.
- We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, under contract and only as needed: Stripe (payments), Google Analytics (aggregate usage), and our hosting/infrastructure providers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. Cookies & analytics
We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (such as light/dark theme), and analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling essential cookies may affect functionality.
